The Warlords
A heroic tale of three blood brothers and their struggle in the midst of war and political upheaval. In the autumn of 1870, General Pang Qingyun of the imperial army wants to end war and restore peace to the land. But to do so he must first rise to power. To help him achieve his goal, he joins two bandits Zhao Er-Hu and Jiang Wuyang, and the three become sworn brothers. Directed by Peter Chan and stars Jet Li, Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro. last night, a stroke of good luck ... "The Warlords" on tv here in Italy
very interesting movie with its historical reference, bloody scenes (Kaneshiro holding up a enemy's head in his hand is terrible ), but also touching moments, when Takeshi's character appears to be resolute in spite of tears. Very well!
besides, really clever the symbolism about the cross
